1. Thông tin chúng tôi thu thập

Bite được thiết kế để thu thập càng ít thông tin cá nhân càng tốt. Cụ thể:

• Thông tin bạn cung cấp: tên hiển thị khi bắt đầu sử dụng, tên nhóm, các khoản chi tiêu, số tiền, ảnh hoá đơn (nếu bạn dùng tính năng quét hoá đơn), và nội dung bạn nhập vào quỹ chung.
• Không yêu cầu tài khoản: Bite không bắt buộc đăng ký bằng email hay số điện thoại. Tham gia nhóm chỉ cần quét mã QR hoặc nhập mã mời.
• Thông tin thanh toán (Premium): nếu bạn nâng cấp Premium, giao dịch được xử lý bởi App Store hoặc Google Play — Bite không lưu trữ số thẻ hay thông tin tài khoản ngân hàng của bạn.
• Dữ liệu kỹ thuật: máy chủ Bite ghi nhật ký kỹ thuật cơ bản (thời điểm và loại yêu cầu) để vận hành ổn định — ứng dụng không nhúng SDK phân tích hay theo dõi nào.

2. Cách chúng tôi sử dụng thông tin

Thông tin thu thập được dùng để:

• Hiển thị đúng khoản chi, số dư và lịch sử giữa các thành viên trong nhóm của bạn.
• Xử lý các tính năng bạn chủ động dùng: quét hoá đơn (OCR), gợi ý danh mục và cách chia.
• Xác nhận và duy trì trạng thái Premium sau khi thanh toán.
• Phát hiện lỗi, cải thiện độ ổn định và trải nghiệm của ứng dụng.

Bite không bán dữ liệu của bạn cho bên thứ ba và không dùng dữ liệu chi tiêu để hiển thị quảng cáo.

3. Chia sẻ với bên thứ ba

Dữ liệu chỉ được chia sẻ trong các trường hợp sau:

• Thành viên trong nhóm của bạn: tên, khoản chi, và số dư được hiển thị cho những người bạn mời vào cùng một nhóm.
• Xử lý hoá đơn: ảnh hoá đơn được gửi tới Google Gemini API chỉ để nhận diện các món trong hoá đơn. Bite không lưu ảnh sau khi xử lý và ảnh không được dùng để huấn luyện mô hình. Google xử lý dữ liệu này theo các điều khoản dịch vụ và cam kết bảo vệ dữ liệu của Google Cloud, đảm bảo mức độ bảo vệ tương đương với chính sách này.
• Nhà cung cấp dịch vụ: cửa hàng ứng dụng (App Store / Google Play) và cổng thanh toán xử lý giao dịch Premium theo chính sách riêng của họ.
• Yêu cầu pháp lý: khi pháp luật yêu cầu, hoặc để bảo vệ quyền lợi, an toàn của người dùng.

4. Lưu trữ & bảo mật

Dữ liệu nhóm và chi tiêu được lưu trữ an toàn và chỉ những thành viên trong nhóm mới xem được. Bite áp dụng các biện pháp bảo mật hợp lý để ngăn chặn truy cập trái phép, tuy nhiên không có phương thức truyền tải hay lưu trữ nào an toàn tuyệt đối 100%.

5. Quyền của bạn

• Xem, chỉnh sửa hoặc xoá tên hiển thị và các khoản chi bạn đã tạo, ngay trong ứng dụng.
• Rời khỏi một nhóm bất cứ lúc nào.
• Xoá tài khoản và toàn bộ dữ liệu liên quan ngay trong ứng dụng (Cài đặt → Xoá tài khoản), hoặc yêu cầu xoá qua email bên dưới.

6. Trẻ em

Bite không hướng đến trẻ em dưới 13 tuổi và không cố ý thu thập thông tin từ nhóm đối tượng này. Nếu bạn cho rằng trẻ em đã cung cấp thông tin cho Bite, vui lòng liên hệ để chúng tôi xoá dữ liệu đó.

7. Thay đổi chính sách

Chính sách này có thể được cập nhật theo thời gian. Ngày cập nhật lần cuối luôn được hiển thị ở đầu trang. Việc tiếp tục sử dụng Bite sau khi thay đổi có hiệu lực đồng nghĩa bạn chấp nhận chính sách mới.

1. Information we collect

Bite is designed to collect as little personal information as possible. Specifically:

• Information you provide: your display name, group names, expenses, amounts, receipt photos (if you use the receipt-scan feature), and anything you enter into a shared fund.
• No account required: Bite doesn't require signing up with an email or phone number. Joining a group only requires scanning a QR code or entering an invite code.
• Payment information (Premium): if you upgrade to Premium, the transaction is processed by the App Store or Google Play — Bite does not store your card or bank account details.
• Technical data: Bite's server keeps basic technical logs (when and what type of request) to keep the service stable — the app embeds no analytics or tracking SDKs.

2. How we use information

Collected information is used to:

• Show accurate expenses, balances, and history between members of your group.
• Power features you actively use: receipt scanning (OCR) and category & split suggestions.
• Confirm and maintain your Premium status after purchase.
• Diagnose bugs and improve the app's stability and experience.

Bite does not sell your data to third parties and does not use your spending data to serve ads.

3. Sharing with third parties

Data is only shared in the following cases:

• Members of your group: your name, expenses, and balances are visible to people you invite into the same group.
• Receipt processing: receipt photos are sent to the Google Gemini API solely to recognize the items on the bill. Bite does not store the photos after processing and they are not used for model training. Google processes this data under its Google Cloud terms of service and data-protection commitments, which provide the same or equal level of protection for your data as this policy.
• Service providers: app stores (App Store / Google Play) and payment processors handle Premium transactions under their own policies.
• Legal requirements: when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of users.

4. Storage & security

Group and expense data is stored securely and is only visible to members of that group. Bite applies reasonable security measures to prevent unauthorized access, though no method of transmission or storage is ever 100% secure.

5. Your rights

• View, edit, or delete your display name and any expenses you created, directly in the app.
• Leave a group at any time.
• Delete your account and all associated data directly in the app (Settings → Delete account), or request deletion via the email below.

6. Children

Bite is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided information to Bite, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the latest version. Continuing to use Bite after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
